Frequently Asked Questions
What Information Should I Have Ready Before Reaching Out?
The more details you can share, the better we can serve you from day one. That said, don't let a lack of information stop you from reaching out, we're happy to help you figure it out together. If you have any of the following ready, it'll help us hit the ground running:
Budget range - Even a rough number helps guide the conversation.
Lot or land - Own one already, or still searching? Address, size, and any known restrictions (Zoning, easements, utility access) help.
Inspiration - Photos, wishlists, or homes you admire.
Must-haves vs. nice-to-haves - Bed/bath count, office, outdoor living, garage size, what's essential vs. flexible.
Timeline - Breaking ground in 6 months? A year? Just exploring?
Financing approach - Cash, construction loan, pre-approved, or still figuring it out.
Even if all you have is a dream and a rough budget, that's a starting point. We'll help fill in the rest during your consultation.
How Soon Can I Get An Estimate?
After your onsite consultation, where we walk the property and talk through your wants and needs, we can typically provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate to give you a general sense of investment. This is a great starting point for planning, but it's not the final number.
A precise, accurate estimate comes later in the process, once you've worked with an architect to develop plans, gone through any revisions, and finalized an approved construction set. At that point, we know exactly what we're building and can give you pricing you can rely on.
Do You Charge For Consultations Or Estimates?
The short answer is no. We believe getting to know your project and giving you an honest sense of what's possible, shouldn't come with a price tag before you've even decided to work with us. Your initial consultation and ROM estimate are always free, no strings attached.
Some builders charge upfront fees just to walk your site or run numbers. We've never understood that approach. Asking someone to pay before they know if they want to hire you puts the cart before the horse. We'd rather earn your business by showing you the value we bring, not by billing you to find out.
Do You Handle The Permitting Process?
The permit is pulled under the homeowner's name, and we handle all inspections from that point forward. We'll walk you through exactly what's needed on your end.
Do You Offer Warranty On Your Work?
Yes. A one-year structural warranty, plus manufacturer warranties on all materials and systems used in your home.
